This week I met up with a couple of friends at Wahaca in Soho, London for some dinner and a catch up.
I hadn’t been for ages and had forgotten how good it was! The staff are friendly and the food fresh and fast – but definitely not fast food!
The Mexican market food style dishes range from mini tacos and tostadas to burritos and quesadillas. The sides are yummy too – definitely worth trying the spicy slaw and spiced sweet potato…although the green rice is a favourite too.
You’ll need two or three dishes each, we went for six dishes and two sides between three of us and it was plenty.
Wash it all down with a fresh hibiscus aqua or for something slightly stronger there’s a menu of about ten different margaritas!
You can’t book tables at Wahaca but we went on a busy Friday night and only had to wait about 20minutes for a table. It’s not a bad wait either – downstairs you’ll find a relaxed bar with foozeball tables and plenty of fresh juices, mojitos and margaritas to go round!
Enjoy!
