There are plenty of places in Dubai if you’re looking for a fun brunch (Bubblicious) or a family-friendly brunch (More Café).
However for those who would prefer something in between the craziness we’ve all come to know at Saffron and climbing over buggies to get to your table at More, I would highly recommend Thai Kitchen at Park Hyatt.
Not only is it one of my all time favourite Dubai hotels, the setting is amazing with tables out on the terrace you can enjoy your brunch, served to the table, amongst tropical flowers and with a view of the boats on the water.
The menu is huge, and obviously if you don’t like Thai food this isn’t for you, but the best way to do it if you haven’t been before and aren’t a fussy eater is to ask for a selection. Your waitress will then bring a selection of the starter dishes for the table to share – and don’t be fooled, they look tiny but the dishes just keep on coming and coming!
Once you feel you’ve had enough of these just ask for the mains and you’ll be served up an amazing array of curries. Make sure to leave space for the dessert – fresh fruit plates and coconut sorbet. Favourite dishes of our group included the chilli beef and pomelo salad.
There are three package choices, one with wine/beer/cocktails, one just with wine and the non-alcoholic version so something for everyone.
The other bonus is it’s very casual so it’s the ultimate laid back, easy Friday brunch. The brunch runs from 12.30 – 4pm.
