A couple of months ago we spent an amazing weekend at Jumeirah Emirates Towers and now that it’s summer, there are some great deals for anyone looking for a trip not too far from home!
For all GCC residents, you can save 10% on the Best Available Rate just by showing your Emirates ID on check in as part of the Jumeirah Summer Breaks promotion. It’s valid until 30 September (in case you prefer to go when it’s cooled down ever so slightly!) and also includes breakfast at Mosaico restaurant (one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had), complimentary shuttle bus to Jumeirah Beach and access to Wild Wadi Waterpark and the private beach, complimentary internet access and a shuttle to and from The Dubai Mall.
What an amazing offer! Having spent just a weekend there it was much more relaxing than I thought it would be. Obviously I thought we’d enjoy it but not being on the beach, I didn’t think we’d unwind and switch off like we did, given that we were a stone’s throw from Sheikh Zayed Road and bustling Downtown.
Highlights for me included breakfast as I’ve mentioned (I hate cooked breakfast so was nice to have so many other options!), the pool which is like heaven on earth and the room which was bigger than our entire apartment and really comfy – with great views too!
There is one other offer and I’m not sure which would work out to be better value, it probably depends on dates etc… but Summer in the City at Jumeirah Towers offers 20% off Best Available Rates (sounds like a better offer already) and you also get the following all thrown in: breakfast, Wild Wadi Waterpark and private beach access, shuttle services to The Dubai Mall and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, 20% off food and drink in selected restuarants, 20% off spa treatments at Talise Spa (one of the nicest spas in Dubai), free internet and kids under 12 stay for free. On top of all that you get a shopping discount voucher booklet for the Boulevard worth AED 2,000.
The only catch that I can see is that it’s for bookings for a minimum of three nights so this one is better for slightly longer stays.
Either way I would definitely recommend it if you fancy a break within Dubai and something a little different to a beach resort. Happy mini-breaking!
