Last weekend started off with a shopping trip into Oxford Street.I can’t remember the last time I went shopping in town but it wasn’t as busy as it could have been – the light snow was good for something!

On my shopping list: basics. Boring but necessary!

Purchased – boring basics, black socks, black hair bands, a new blue and white stripey t-shirt from Primark (you can never have too many stripes) and a new foundation.

Of course a pit stop was needed to refuel after an hour in hectic Primark! A quick stop at Carluccio’s for a yummy lunch did the trick.

One exciting purchase was this dress from Dorothy Perkins. Originally £39.50 (still pretty good for a dress that looks and feels quite expensive), there was a special 25% off just for the weekend so I managed to nab it for just £29.60 – absolute bargain!
