July beauty favourites

I can’t believe July has been and gone so quickly and now we’re on the countdown to Christmas (I know…I should have grown out of this by now, but I haven’t!)

July was another month of trying new things which included more from Nivea (fast becoming a favourite although I never thought I’d say it).

Nivea pure & natural and fresh natural deo ranges – Over the last year or so I’ve become obsessed with using aluminium-free deodorants (and you all should too!!) without becoming too serious or morbid, there are a lot of health benefits to using the chemical free variety so who needs more reason to make the switch?

Barry M nail polish – I picked up two new shades a couple of weeks ago and have already tried both of them. Admittedly the formula isn’t as good as Chanel or Nails Inc etc… but if you don’t mind spending a few more minutes applying (it’s quite thin) and having it only last about 5 days then it’s great for a budget option. I went for two in the gelly range – sugar apple (a very pale blue) and passion fruit (bright coral red).

Marc Jacobs Lola – I’m a big fan of Marc Jacobs’ popular scent Daisy and am also loving Lola recently. The bottles are AMAZING. They just are, they are so pretty I don’t want either perfume to finish! Daisy is light and fresh so perfect for day time and Lola has become my evening perfume of choice.

For years and years I wore the same perfume – Chanel Chance which is amazing but the bottle is pretty boring (!) so I never kept them. These are so lovely though I will probably keep them for awhile and see if I can find anything to use them for!
