This month sees the launch of a brand new seven-piece collaborative collection between jeweller Jordan Askill and one of my all time favourites – Topshop.
The collection is inspired by Ancient Egyptian artefacts and features charms, lockets, detachable pendants and a panther motif.
The range of rings, cuffs and necklaces start from £20 (for the rings) and goes all the way up to £120 (for a cuff).
The Australian-born, London-based jewellery designer Jordan Askill created the collection, exclusive to Topshop, featuring a majestic panther motif throughout.
“The idea behind a lot of my work is the notion that pieces can be collected and passed between friends,” he says. “I was able to fuse this idea of collectible elements with sculptural styles within this collection.”
The collection is dark and mysterious and the pieces look a lot more expensive than they actually are – good work Askill/Topshop!
The capsule collection is available to buy in stores and online – for a more indepth look at Askill’s inspirations for the collaboration, check out his interview in the December issue of Australian Vogue.
