A few weeks ago I had an invitation from the girls at Invitation Only to come along to the next boutique pop up in London.
I’ve been a bit slow at getting this post up but it was such a lovely morning I couldn’t not let you all know abut it! I decided to go with my sister who I knew would enjoy browsing the rails as much as I would. We met at South Kensington for a short stroll to BECCA London where the pop up was being held.
There were so many lovely things to look through – and a special thanks to Lydia for showing us around, from gorgeous soft leather bags to silk scarves there was definitely something to suit all tastes. Personally, I was immediately drawn to a range of silver jewellery – simple but definitely a bit different with an almost industrial feel to it. Think polished nuts and bolts with a bit of added bling!
The pop up was the size for an exclusive morning of shopping, complete with a sofa area for afternoon tea and macaroons – of course, served in pretty, delicate china tea cups.
After a mini pit-stop of tea and a sweet treat we had a second browse and ended up coming away with a silver necklace each – indulgent but it is coming up to my birthday – thanks again to my sister who treated me!
I’d love to say that was the end of the extravagance….but it wasn’t. It wasn’t really our fault though as to leave, we had to walk all the way through BECCA – lines and lines of glossy nail varnishes, sticks of ruby lipsticks and eye shadows in every colour of the rainbow. A couple of glittery eye powders may have also found their way into our bags on the way out…I’m saying nothing more!
Thanks to Lydia and Diane for the invitation and wonderful blogger discount!
