It’s almost Christmas! Which means there’s lots and lots to do. Last weekend was mostly spent at home trying to do as little as possible.
I’ve had this nasty cough for over a month now and after spending a small fortune on strepsils, cough syrup and lemsip I went to the doctor and have been given antibiotics which will hopefully kick it in time for Christmas – although really I’m hoping to feel a bit better before our work Christmas party as well!
The only thing I did last weekend was my Christmas shopping – almost all of it within a couple of hours so I was pretty pleased with my one short outing. I always tend to have a rough idea of what I want to get people which makes it a lot easier and means I don’t end up buying things just for the sake of it.
How’s everyone else getting on with present buying?
I’m also pleased to say that I resisted quite a few purchases to make sure it was a present buying trip and not just a shopping day for me! Lots of lovely things out there though so if you’re putting together a Christmas wish list, why not include a few of these?
